Alumni & Giving

Your support is an investment in new generations of leaders, research that improves human health locally and globally, and innovations in practice, education and policy.

Our generous alumni and donors share their time, expertise and financial resources. The majority of our 400 preceptors are alumni, modeling best practices in clinical pharmacy and mentoring current students. Graduates of our pioneering regulatory science, health economics and other unique programs are shepherding life-improving advances and shaping policy decisions that improve access to care while reducing costs. And our pharmaceutical sciences alumni are discovering cures and novel treatments for a host of conditions.

Donors fund scholarships that ensure an exceptional education remains within reach of talented students in need. They also fund endowed chairs and research and programmatic initiatives that propel the entire field forward.

Alumni, students and faculty are part of the renowned Trojan Family—a strong, connected community known for professional achievement, community outreach, and innovative curricular and care models. Our motto “lifelong, worldwide” reflects alumni dedication to supporting new generations of USC students and graduates on every continent.

Launching the USC South Los Angeles Pharmacy

Conveniently located pharmacies foster healthier communities. But one in three urban neighborhoods is a pharmacy desert, meaning people there have no options for filling prescriptions within a half mile of their home without transportation—or a mile if they have cars. We invite you to become a philanthropic investor in this life-changing enterprise aimed at greening one of the nation’s most pronounced pharmacy deserts.
